}Everything about how palettes are generated, checked and exported.
Describe your brand, mood or industry and the generator returns a complete 13-color system: primary, secondary, accent, backgrounds, surfaces, borders, three text tones and four semantic colors. Every color is then checked and corrected for WCAG contrast and perceptual distinctness.
Primary, secondary and accent for brand moments. Background, surface and border for layout. Text primary, secondary and muted for typography. Success, warning, error and info for states. It is everything a real interface needs, not just five swatches.
Yes. Upload a photo, logo or screenshot and the dominant colors are extracted with k-means clustering. Those colors then seed a full brand color system, so the result is production-ready rather than a raw list of pixels.
Yes. Lock any color in the result, edit a hex value directly, then hit Regenerate. Locked colors stay fixed and the rest of the system is rebuilt around them.
Every text and background pairing is checked against WCAG 2.1 AA (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text). Failing pairs are corrected automatically and each result includes a contrast report you can review.
CSS custom properties, a Tailwind config, W3C design tokens JSON and a shadcn/ui theme. For coding agents there are ready-made configs for Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and a generic agent format.
Export a Claude Code skill, Cursor rules or Codex prompt and drop it into your repo. The agent reads the palette and applies your brand colors consistently when it generates UI, instead of inventing its own.
Yes. Save any generated palette to get a permanent link with its own preview image. Share it with your team or open it later to remix.
Yes. Browse the brand color pages for the exact hex codes of companies like Apple, Discord or Spotify, then use Generate Inspired Palette to build something new from that starting point.
Yes, and it is free. Create an API key and generate palettes, extract colors from images or fetch brand palettes programmatically. See the API docs for endpoints and examples.
Yes. Unlimited generations, every export format, shareable links and the API, with no account required.
Prompts are sent to the AI provider to generate the palette and are not used for anything else. Uploaded images are processed to extract colors and are not kept. Only palettes you explicitly save are stored, so they can be shared.
